NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL SPRING ELECTION

APRIL 1, 2008

                   

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election is to be held in the City of Waterloo on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 and the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed.  The term for alderperson begins on Tuesday, April 15, 2008.  All terms are for four years unless otherwise indicated.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2007, and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5:00 p.m., January 2, 2008 in the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer, 136 N. Monroe Street, Waterloo, WI 53594.

 

INCUMBENT OFFICEHOLDERS must file a Notification of Noncandidacy by 5:00 p.m. on December 21, 2007 with the City Clerk/Treasurer to avoid an extension of time for filing such papers.

 

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2008.
