Waterloo Chamber of Commerce
Why should you be a member?
By becoming a Chamber member, you make an investment in the Waterloo area and in your business’ success. Here’s how the Chamber can help.
Get your name out there:
You get a listing on our website (www.waterloowis.com) that lists your company, contact names, a link to your website, your email address, and a short description.
We print 800 quarterly newsletters. These are mailed to all Chamber members and all Marshall Area Business Association members. In addition, newsletters are left in several area locations .
You can take advantage of cost-effective advertising in the newsletter. We have a business section in which you can list your business highlights and successes. Also, Chamber members can put a full-page flyer in the newsletters for the small fee of $30 (you must provide the flyers).
Every week our office gets requests for member listings or information on suppliers of specific products and services. We always refer our members!
The Annual Business Expo (held jointly with Marshall Area Business Association) is held in the Spring. For a small fee, Members can present their business to hundreds of attendees.
Bring dollars to your business:
Wiener and Kraut Day brings thousands of people to the downtown area.
Merchant Trick-or-Treat bring parents to your business, increasing your visibility when they want to buy.
The Chamber Money Program encourages non-profit organizations to spend their money in Waterloo. The Chamber matches up to $125 when they open a Chamber Money account at either of the two financial institutions in Waterloo. The money can be used to purchase items or services at any Chamber member.
Invest in your community:
The Chamber sponsors an annual Easter Egg Hunt and Holiday Parade in December.
The Chamber awards up to three $500 Scholarships to graduating seniors at Waterloo High School who meet our community service criteria and academic requirements. |
